In today’s mechanised/digital world, reproduction is limitless so one image may have many iterations, unlimited possibility of copies. An original is no longer valuable as the promise of a singularity like in a painting is not guaranteed. I believe that an image sold at high prices should be protected to the investor as a unique object. Our prices are set by the assurance that apart from an artist proof, there will be only 3 to 10 copies of an image to be made at full size, All other reduced sizes are to be sold as minor reproductions and are valued at that consumer level.
